FLOUSS is a mobile Application created by the Central Bank of Tunisia to introduce a new communication on the Tunisian Banknotes contemporary generation.Through the characters, monuments and heritage objects appearing on these banknotes, the CBT helps to commemorate the national heritage and glorify the Tunisias history.
The communication on safety, educational and cultural aspects are available to the general public through this application.
Different services are also provided for the visually impaired with the possibility of an audiovisual identification of the banknotes value.In order to prove its commitment to transformation, modernization and opening up to new technologies and startups environment, the CBT aims through the use of augmented reality technology to enable the public to know the cultural content and graphic and safety aspects of the Tunisian banknotes contemporary generation and give the visually impaired the opportunity to gain autonomy.
Just put your smartphone in front of the Tunisian banknote in order to hear its value and see its amount largely displayed.The application will also feature animated characters in augmented reality to learn more about great figures that have marked the Tunisias history such as Tawhida Ben Cheikh and Farhat Hached.This application was developed by "Digital Cultural eXperience", a Tunisian startup that aims to promote the Tunisian heritage through new technologies.
Through relying on young national skills, the Central Bank of Tunisia strengthens its commitment to promoting innovation and youth employment.
